Each fall, the process of collecting firewood begins for our farmhouse. We heat a good portion of our home with a wood stove. In fact, from fall until late April if you give me a hug, I will smell like smoke. The best part of this entire process is getting to enjoy my hunky husband chop and split logs….there’s something enticing about a hard working fellow!
