Rodes Library Soy Candle
Rodes Library is truly a bit of a personal story for me. When I first moved to the charming town of Danville in the year 1989, my family and I took the time to tour the Boyle County Library. In the old section, affectionately referred to as Rodes Library, there was an unmistakable smell of old parchment drifting through the air, creating an atmosphere that was simply enchanting. A cozy fireplace was lit, casting a warm glow, and leather chairs were thoughtfully peppered throughout the room, inviting people to sit and stay awhile. I was absolutely in heaven. This delightful scent, with its intricate hints of rosewood, rich leather, wafting smoke, and soft sandalwood, is nothing short of perfection. It would make the ideal candle for all of you fellow bibliophiles out there who understand the magic of a great reading space.
